Joyce
brings to her work an
unusual and extensive background in home management and
consumer affairs. After earning a B.S. in home economics,
she pursued a career in Consumer Affairs, working for the
Council of Better Business Bureaus. Joyce also coordinated
moves and handled customer claims for a local agent of a
major van line, ran her own business handling medical
claims for patients, and taught basic computer skills at
an alternative high school. In her spare time, she has
served as president of several non-profit associations,
including the Bowie Dog Park Association, which she
founded. She is also active in the National
Association of Professional Organizers' Metropolitan
Washington, DC Chapter.
Joyce
first developed organization skills to effectively juggle
family, career, and volunteer work. Now she enjoys helping
others manage the complexity of their own lives by
developing systems that work for them. In a gentle way,
she helps clients gain control over their possessions,
their paperwork, and their time. She especially enjoys
transforming the most disorganized rooms into
easily-maintained order, both pleasing to the eye and
spirit. One of her home transformations was featured
on ABC 7 News in Washington, DC. Click on photos
