 | Start small. Organize one small area. It will look so
great that you will be inspired to do the same to other
areas.
 | Keep in your home only those things that are still
meaningful to you and bring you pleasure. Sell, toss, or
donate the rest.
 | Do not buy items ONLY because they are on sale.
 | Store items as close as possible to where you will use
them. For example, store mixing bowls close to your food
preparation area. |
 | Store heavy and fragile items closer to the floor and
often-used items in the most accessible areas.
 | Store similar items together. When needed, you will
only have to look in one place.
 | Use dividers or separate bins in drawers to help
maintain order.
 | Use labels to help you and others remember where to
put items.
 | Open mail near the recycle bin for easy disposal. Put
the rest in a designated location.
 | Make a master to do list. Then transfer items to your
daily task list and prioritize them. Eliminate tasks that
are not important.
 | Break down projects into smaller tasks.
 | Schedule fun activities as well as tasks.
 | Say no if you need to.
 | Delegate when possible. |
